PRODUCT CARE
Beds
Do not overload the drawers or pull-out bedside tables, as this may damage the drawer runners or fixings. Please do not allow children to sit on the open drawers or bedside tables.
Close drawers carefully. Do not slam as this may damage the drawer construction.
Do not move the bed by pushing on the headboard as this is likely to damage the headboard fixings. Always push on the mattress or frame to move the bed.
Mattresses
To maximise the life of your mattress, it is advisable to turn the mattress on a regular basis. Rotate the head and foot ends and turn the mattress over (not applicable to non-turn mattresses).
Lights
Always disconnect the mains supply before changing bulbs or dismantling lights for any reason.
Cleaning Wooden Finishes
Our storage bed parts are made from natural wood veneer and solid woods. Small cracks, textured grains and blemishes are all part of the charm of natural materials. Each individual piece will have its own shade and characteristics. Colour variation between each piece will diminish with time and with the exposure to sunlight.
All our wooden products are lacquered to provide a durable surface.
Wipe with a damp cloth only. You can use a little mild soap if required. Do not use abrasive cleaners and do not leave the surface wet. Small scratches may be sealed with clear wax polish.
Fire Retardancy
All fabrics used on our storage beds are compliant with UK fire safety laws.
Cleaning Fabrics
Our fabrics can be cleaned using a dry spray cleaner (please test on an inconspicuous area first). For the removal of more specific stains please use following remedies:
Butter, Jam, Chocolate, Ketchup, Coffee, Milk or Fruit Juice – dab with warm water and detergent, rinse with lukewarm water.
Wine: dab with methylated spirit, rinse with weak vinegar.
Ink: dab with methylated spirit.
Shoe Polish or Lipstick: Use stain remover.
Nail Polish: use ethyl acetate.
Chewing Gum: dissolve with ethyl acetate when hard.
