OUR COMPANY

We designed our first storage bed more than twelve years ago.

It was a new storage concept for the bedroom; practical, functional and very different from other products available. Our storage beds were marketed and sold by a favourite retailer (who was never knowingly undersold) until the arrival of the credit crunch in 2009. With the poor Sterling exchange rate to consider, and at the same time wishing to improve our offer to our customers, we turned to online selling and through our website launched a diverse selection of specialist storage solutions for the bedroom.

We firmly maintain a simple philosophy: we want to offer you the most practical storage solutions to utilise the space in your bedroom and strive to provide the very best products available at the very best value.

We control our supply chain from design through to the final installation in your bedroom by our own trained staff. We don’t use any middlemen and we don’t have huge high street overheads. We only sell products which are specifically made for our market and which are manufactured with high quality components. Compare the specification of our products, carefully evaluate every design feature of our unique products and make up your own mind.

You may think it’s a bit risky buying furniture items online as you should really touch and try them in a shop to find the one that’s right for you. That may be true, but you will most likely pay handsomely and the shop experience may not necessarily guarantee your satisfaction. We know. We supplied the trade for many years!

OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

At The Living Storage Company we take the environment very serious and we make sure we implement every possible measure to reduce and offset our carbon footprint.

Our products are manufactured using materials from renewable resources. We only use wood which meets international standards for responsible forest management. Our C.O.C Certificate proves our suppliers deliver what they promise.
We use the minimum amount of packaging and all packaging is recycled. We do not use polystyrene in our packaging.
Our furniture lacquer is water based, not a chemical based lacquer.
We always try and use natural materials in our mattress range such as wool, cotton and linen.
We consolidate our deliveries to minimize vehicle mileage and therewith fossil fuel.
